Harmony Through Wealth

Beings without physical bodies, the kins of the Kingdom manifest appendages to interact with their surroundings. Focused on material possessions and trade, they shape the world through tangible magic.

Appearance

Spectral beings of magical, emotional goo, they can shift shapes and glow with colors reflecting their emotions. While ethereal and fluid in form, they remain vulnerable to physical harm. These ancient beings can live for upto 2 centuries. They are reproducing through spectral mitosis - a process of merging with a partner to create new offspring. However, as they age, they gradually lose control over their minds and forms, often succumbing to “explosive emotions,” a catastrophic condition triggered by extreme surges of overwhelming feelings.

Appearance

Society

The Kingdom is an amalgamation of 3 ancient kingdoms, each with a unique view on trade and economy. Hush-Hush - masters of secrecy, dealing in rare and illicit goods, Grandiose - purveyors of luxury, rare artifacts and cultural prestige, and Fairness Incorporated - champions of fairness, providing everyday goods at honest prices. Each kingdom is ruled independently, but the nation as a whole is governed by a council consisting of all 3 rulers. Materialism defines their vibrant, commerce-driven culture, where wealth equates to status and success. Diplomacy is pragmatic, focusing on profitable alliances and deals.

The Kingdom is located in a region known as The Behind. Bordered mostly by the Nasties, it is the last bulwark against the horrors within it. The Kingdom is famous for their opulent castle-towns.

Society

The kins are a remnant of a past unknown. Their material expertise makes them irreplaceable in a connected world.
