The Seven Nations
Amidst the turmoil of life, seven nations stood the test of time. Their relations are at best rocky and held by the fine thread weaved by potential doomsday prophecies. Shaky alliances plague the political landscape, with the everyday person sick with confusion.

Sunsea
Bound by Flame
The Sunseen are fire-wielding mermaids originating from the depths near the Underwater Sun. With overpopulation fueling discontent, differences divided their society - explore the seas or settle on land.
Appearance
The magic of the Sunseen almost always manifests as fire or water, a symbol of their culture and heritage. They have tails that can transform into legs, allowing them to move on land while retaining the ability to breathe underwater. While transforming, their scales retain and form clothing of their choice. Its a rare sight to see a sunseen with convetional clothing made from fabric, even in the harshest conditions, as they would rely on their own strength and magic to survive.

Society
Sunseen society is organized around Initiatives - collaborative projects, which are the driving force behind innovation, governance, and societal development, fostering a culture where purpose and contribution. Each individual selects an Initiative aligned with their skills, passions, or aspirations, dedicating their efforts to a collective goal. Each Initiative is let by an elder, who is responsible for the members of the Initiative. About 200 years ago, a deep divide formed in the nation - the Bright, who sought evolution to land-dwelling life, while the Warmer clung to their aquatic heritage. This conflict, continues to shape Sunseen society, with each side vying for influence over the future.
Underwater Sunseen settlements can be found in most open waters of the world, but their origin is just next to the Underwater Sun.
